About The Position
Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a full-time, direct-hire position. This role involves performing various warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, stocking, and operating a sit-down propane forklift. The position is Monday-Friday, day shift, with weekends off. The company is a leading specialty wholesale distributor to the woodworking industry with a significant annual revenue and a broad operational footprint.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ year of warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading/unloading trucks)
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Forklift experience
Nice To Haves
- Some Will Call experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, checking in materials, put-aways/stocking materials, forklift operation (sit-down propane), palletizing, skid wrapping, team and individual lifting, cleaning/general housekeeping, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Lift and lower packages that may weigh up to 70 pounds using proper lifting and lowering techniques.
- Adapt to fluctuating temperatures in the work environment.
- Maintain an excellent customer focus attitude as this position is customer-facing.
