About The Position

S&S Activewear is seeking a Warehouse Associate II - Inventory Control to join their vibrant and innovative team. This role is crucial for maintaining an organized workstation and streamlining product flow within their automated system. The position involves various warehouse tasks, potentially including training new hires, managing product delivery and receipt from conveyor systems, customer interaction, processing received goods, replenishing product in the automated picking system, fulfilling customer orders, and reviewing/packing orders for accuracy and shipping standards. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
  • Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest).

Responsibilities

  • Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (order picker cart).
  • Perform and complete daily safety inspections check list for all equipment used.
  • Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.)
  • Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
  • Unload/Load Trailers
  • Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
  • Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements CPH – count per hour.
  • Assist with training of new hires.
  • Deliver and receive product from the conveyor systems.
  • Interface with customers.
  • Process of received goods.
  • Replenish product within our automated picking system.
  • Fulfill customer orders.
  • Review and pack orders to verify accuracy and ensure that the product is up to shipping standards.
