About The Position

This is a basic warehouse performer role responsible for truck unloading and loading, inventory replenishment, and order picking. The role involves operating forklift equipment (stand up and sit down), using an R/F scan gun, and interacting with warehouse management systems. Key functions include adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, receiving inbound products, outbound picking, and loading concentrate and raw materials.

Requirements

  • Two plus (2+) years' warehousing experience
  • Proficiency on a stand up or sit-down forklift
  • Able to understand and follow instructions, procedures, and chain of command to report issues and seek resolution
  • Ability to follow directions and operate independently
  • Ability to work Overtime and have flexibility with work schedule
  • Must possess High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Nice To Haves

  • Computer familiarity a plus
  • WMS experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Unload truck and put away product
  • Pick orders
  • Perform relabeling efforts
  • Execute Warehouse Tasks
  • Perform inspection and minor operator maintenance on non-highway equipment
  • Material handling and adherence to warehouse best practices
  • Compliance with all HSE rules and procedures
  • Drive a safe culture and wear PPE as required
  • Compliance with all Manufacturing GMP and Plant Food Safety Policies
  • Maintain WA-I Productivity, Accuracy and Quality targets
  • Complete blind receiver and forward to Shipping Clerk; verify BOL
  • Put away product according to warehouse plan
  • Utilize SAP R/F gun to pick order according to FEFO, complete pallets, and complete truck
  • Load truck if directed
  • Add or remove DOT marks and labels, and other labeling efforts that do not impact FDA labeling requirements
  • Follow guidelines to ensure a clean, orderly, visualized workplace
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of KPI data to Team Lead
  • Complete damage forms as needed and promptly submit to Associate Coordinator
  • Conduct pre-trip forklift inspection, note and report discrepancies
  • Operate equipment safely; store and recharge according to DC procedure, water batteries bi-weekly
  • Support continuous clean operations and good warehousing practices
  • Conduct Quarterly Cycle counts as directed by Team Lead
  • Report incidents and near misses to management promptly
  • Complete all required EHS training, wear required safety shoes and Hi-Vis safety vest
  • Complete and submit near miss / good catches
  • Follow GMP, Food Safety Programs and Prerequisites
  • Read and understand applicable procedures listed in SOP's
  • Understand Food Safety AIB audit requirements as it relates to office functions and meet audit compliance requirements
