About The Position

This is a basic warehouse performer role responsible for truck unloading and loading, inventory replenishment, and order picking. The associate will operate forklift equipment (stand up and sit down), an R/F scan gun, and warehouse management systems. Key responsibilities include adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for Receiving IB, Outbound Picking, and Loading Concentrate & Raw Materials. The role requires meeting annual AOP and KPI guidelines, performing inspections and minor maintenance on non-highway equipment, and ensuring compliance with all HSE rules, GMP, and Plant Food Safety Policies. The position involves an eight to ten-hour shift with repetitive heavy lifting and machine operation, supporting continuous clean operations and good warehousing practices. The associate will also conduct quarterly cycle counts and complete all required EHS training.

Requirements

  • Two plus (2+) years' warehousing experience.
  • Proficiency on a stand up or sit-down forklift
  • Able to understand and follow instructions, procedures, and chain of command to report issues and seek resolution.
  • Ability to follow directions and operate independently.
  • Ability to work Overtime and have flexibility with work schedule
  • Must possess High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Nice To Haves

  • Computer familiarity a plus.
  • WMS experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Unload truck, put away product

  • Blind receiver completed and forwarded to Shipping Clerk; BOL verified. Product put away according to warehouse plan
  • Concentrate -- utilize SAP R/F gun to pick order according to FEFO, complete pallets, complete truck. Load truck if directed
  • Add or remove DOT marks and labels, and other labeling efforts that do not impact FDA labeling requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of SOP measures and procedures
  • Follow guidelines to ensure clean, orderly, visualized workplace
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of KPI data to Team Lead
  • Complete damage forms as needed and promptly submit to Associate Coordinator
  • Conduct pre-trip forklift inspection, note and report discrepancies. Operate equipment safely; store and recharge according to DC procedure, water batteries bi-weekly
  • Support continuous clean operations and good warehousing practices
  • Conduct Quarterly Cycle counts as directed by Team Lead
  • Report incidents and near misses to management promptly
  • DOT / RCRA Training
  • Complete all required EHS training, wear required safety shoes and Hi-Vis safety vest
  • Completed and submit near miss / good catches
  • Follow GMP, Food Safety Programs and Prerequisites
  • Read and understand applicable procedures that are listed in SOP's
  • Understand Food Safety AIB audit requirements as it relates to office functions & meet audit compliance requirements
