About The Position
Packer Fastener is hiring an entry-level Warehouse Associate I at its Green Bay headquarters. The company provides hands-on training and support, with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance internally. The role is suited to someone who takes pride in accurate, productive work and enjoys staying active in a collaborative, energetic workplace. The position is full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays required. Pay is hourly, with eligibility for a profit-sharing bonus.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Must be eligible for coverage through the company’s auto insurance carrier under its Driver Safety Policy.
- Valid FedMed Card, or willingness and ability to obtain one before employment by completing a DOT physical arranged and paid for by the company.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a valid forklift certification issued by Packer Fastener.
- Familiarity with the delivery territory.
- Ability to quickly learn the specific software required for order fulfillment, including NetSuite hardware and software.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized team player able to relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to routinely handle and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and twist.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to work on one’s feet and stay active.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill orders accurately and productively using NetSuite hardware and software.
- Handle and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Follow safety priorities and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
