About The Position

The Warehouse Associate I position is responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including operating cutting equipment, using technology for order processing, assisting customers, and handling shipping and receiving. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Safety is a priority, with proper PPE provided and regular safety meetings held. The work environment is non-climate controlled and can be noisy, with exposure to moving machinery. A relaxed dress code is in place, with required safety footwear.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, with attention to detail.

Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
Use technology such as RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
Assist customers with local will-call orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
Ship and receive truck deliveries.
Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Lift up to 80 lbs.
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
Use sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility.
