About The Position

The Warehouse Associate I supports warehouse operations by loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and handling materials. The role ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled safely and efficiently. Work is performed under close supervision, using prescribed procedures and established practices; non-routine issues are referred to a supervisor.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including bending or squatting.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials with shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods.
• Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Install bracing, padding, or other protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials.
• Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.
