About The Position

Responsible for supporting warehouse operations through loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. Ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled safely, efficiently, and dependably. Work is performed under close supervision, with limited independent judgment and detailed checks or close review by a senior coworker or supervisor. The role typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods.
• Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Install protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials.
• May drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.
