About The Position

The Warehouse Associate I position is responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including operating cutting equipment, utilizing technology for order processing, assisting customers with will-call orders, building and transporting materials, and handling shipping and receiving. This role requires working at a fast pace, being flexible with overtime, and maintaining reliable attendance and transportation. The environment involves working around moving machinery, potentially in non-climate-controlled conditions with varying temperatures and noise levels. Safety protocols and proper PPE are emphasized.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

• Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
• Use technology such as RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Assist customers with local will-call orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
• Ship and receive truck deliveries.
• Lift up to 80 lbs.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility.
• Be detail-oriented and able to multi-task with attention to detail.
