About The Position

This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, processing wire and cable orders for shipping, and assisting with various warehouse operations. The position requires regular attendance, reliable transportation, and the ability to perform physical tasks. You will be using technology like RF scanners and iPads, operating equipment, and interacting with customers for will-call orders. The warehouse is non-climate controlled and can be noisy at times, with safety protocols and PPE provided.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Must provide proof that you are legally authorized to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
  • Use technology such as RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
  • Assist customers with local will-call orders.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
  • Ship and receive truck deliveries.
  • Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
  • Lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Use sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility.
