Warehouse Associate I
About The Position
The Warehouse Associate I performs basic warehouse operations under close direction of a Warehouse Supervisor, trainer, or senior warehouse personnel. The role supports daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities while learning proper procedures, safety standards, and warehouse systems. Duties include carrying out assigned warehouse tasks, maintaining organized work areas, and following company procedures and quality requirements. The position is performed in a general warehouse and manufacturing environment, and work outside normal business hours may be required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic receiving, picking, packing, and shipping tasks under close supervision.
- Follow work instructions, pick lists, and packing documentation accurately.
- Execute transactions using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within assigned work areas.
- Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare products for deliveries.
- Lift and place products weighing up to 50 pounds on pallets at various heights.
- Safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
