As a Warehouse Associate / Equipment Operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our operations running efficiently while helping support a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or equipment operation experience
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or order fulfillment processes
- Ability to learn and perform multiple warehouse functions
- Strong focus on safety and operational excellence
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning warehouse systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Leadership potential and a willingness to help train and support others
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move products throughout the facility
- Support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management
- Assist with coordinating daily workflow and prioritizing department activities
- Help the team achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy
- Assist with training and supporting team members across multiple warehouse functions
- Troubleshoot and help resolve day-to-day operational challenges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Champion Ferguson's commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned
