About The Position

The Warehouse Associate - Driver delivers products safely and on time while performing warehouse duties efficiently, safely, and accurately to support excellent customer service. The role includes driving delivery routes, coordinating routes with management, confirming deliveries with customers, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining required safety certifications, paperwork, inspections, and truck maintenance records. Warehouse duties include receiving and storing inventory; picking, packing, staging, and shipping orders and transfers; helping customers with orders and returns; using handheld scanners to track inventory; assisting with inventory counts; and keeping the warehouse and common areas clean and orderly. The position requires regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance, cooperation with others, compliance with company policies, participation in after-hours training, and overtime as assigned. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement, as needed.
One year of delivery truck driving experience.
One year of forklift and warehouse experience.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies.
Must qualify for and remain insurable under the company liability insurance policy.
Must meet federal and state requirements to operate the vehicle.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, lie on the floor, handle objects/tools/controls, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, and smell.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Ability to work in environments ranging from 20 to 105 degrees.
Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

One year of customer service experience, preferred.
Proficiency in computer and inventory systems, preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver specified products to various locations safely and efficiently, driving short and long distances during the day.
Coordinate with management to ensure safe and efficient delivery routes.
Confirm with customers at delivery that the correct product was delivered in satisfactory condition.
Load and unload the truck as needed.
Maintain certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
Complete and carry required paperwork, including shipping papers and Hazmat paperwork.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections and maintain truck maintenance records.
Notify management of safety issues with company vehicles.
Verify, receive, and put away incoming stock.
Pull, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfers.
Assist customers with orders and process returns of warranty and stock items.
Use handheld scanners to receive, move, and track inventory in and out of the facility.
Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventory.
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas.
Participate in after-hours training classes and work overtime as assigned.
Work cooperatively with others and comply with company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
