Warehouse Driver Associate
About The Position
Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver. This role is responsible for safely and accurately stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory; fulfilling customer orders; performing yard duties; and supporting daily shipping and receiving. The position helps ensure materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries and includes backup driving duties in a non-regulated, non-CDL vehicle. The work involves frequent movement throughout the workday, often in areas that are not climate controlled, and active physical work handling heavy products in busy warehouses or outdoor yards. Forklifts or pallet jacks may be used, and personal protective equipment is required.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle freight or materials weighing up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
- High school diploma or a combination of work experience and education.
- Experience in a distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screenings.
- Ability to stay in motion for much of the workday, often in areas that are not climate controlled.
- Ability to perform active physical work moving heavy products in busy warehouses or outdoor yards.
- Use of required personal protective equipment.

- Forklift certification; training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training.
Responsibilities
- Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
- Assist customers by phone and in person, often including order entry.
- Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup, UPS shipment, or delivery.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Rotate stock and report damaged or missing items.
- Assist with cycle counts and other physical inventory verification as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Provide backup driving for a non-regulated vehicle.
