Warehouse Associate/Driver
About The Position
Dubak Electrical Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Driver to support its growth and expansion. The company is family-owned, has operated since 1988, and is located in La Grange, Illinois. This position combines warehouse work, general construction duties, and driving responsibilities. It includes stocking and organizing materials and equipment, maintaining warehouse and shop areas, driving to local and national project sites as needed, and assisting with snow removal during winter weather. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record, along with a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement or a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement. The final position level, title, and compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and driver’s license class. The role may require overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, particularly during weather-related conditions. Physical tasks include lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing up to 50 pounds independently; climbing ladders; crouching and bending; and working at heights up to 40 feet. The associate must be willing and able to learn to operate construction equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and skid steers.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed, especially during weather-related conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to climb ladders, crouch, bend, and work at heights up to 40 feet.
- Willingness and ability to learn to operate construction equipment.
- Mechanical inclination.
- General safety training in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift safety awareness.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of driving experience with a Class A CDL or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Forklift training.
- Knowledge of electrical parts, hardware, and components.
- Familiarity with a wide range of tools.
Responsibilities
- Stock parts accurately and efficiently.
- Organize equipment and materials.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and shop areas.
