About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including receiving, processing, and fulfilling orders. The associate will also be responsible for driving, operating forklifts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
1-2 yrs. Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Effective communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
General inventory knowledge, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Operates forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
Able to work independently with some direction and as a team player.
Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
Comfortable in fast-paced environment.
Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
Ability to work overtime if necessary.
Pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming orders and provide thorough documentation.
Pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
Fulfill orders, load, offload, and stage materials.
Utilize a 22k forklift and combi lift to move single and double random pipe.
Determine the status of an order when requested.
Follow special instructions pertaining to an individual order.
Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person.
Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to supervisor.
Assist with order expediting and completing UPS shipments.
Assist in keeping the warehouse clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
Process returns accurately.
Follow all established policies and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.
Attend product knowledge meetings as required by management.
Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
Present a neat and professional image.
Follow company policies and procedures.
