Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver
About The Position
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that combines warehouse operations and occasional delivery driving responsibilities. Because our warehouse team is small and highly collaborative, this position will support a wide variety of daily tasks and responsibilities to help keep operations running smoothly. No two days are exactly the same. The majority of the role will focus on warehouse operations and responsibilities. Occasionally, this position may also assist as a backup delivery driver, covering local deliveries using a company van or 26-foot box truck when needed. This is not primarily a driving position, but flexibility and willingness to assist with deliveries a few times per month is important.
Requirements
- At least one year of warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and willingness to help with a variety of tasks throughout the day
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Positive attitude and customer-service mindset
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, and moving throughout the workday
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Clean driving record preferred
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical due to occasional backup driving responsibilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving larger vehicles such as box trucks is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, staging, and shipping customer orders
- Receiving inbound product and organizing inventory
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
- Assisting with inventory management and general warehouse organization
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (onsite forklift training provided)
- Supporting customer vending and VMI programs as needed
- Interacting with customers and teammates in a professional and respectful manner
- Assisting with local deliveries on an occasional backup basis using a company van or 26-foot box truck
- Completing reporting, documentation, and other miscellaneous operational tasks
- Helping wherever needed — we wear a lot of hats here!
