About The Position

We are a well‑established, locally owned courier service seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and fulfillment operations. This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, supporting time‑sensitive shipments moving through our local courier network. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment that supports same‑day and next‑day deliveries.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
Comfortable working on your feet in a fast‑paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
Basic comfort with mobile devices or scanning systems
Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends
Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or DUI's in the past 7 years.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment experience preferred
Experience in a courier, logistics, or distribution environment
Familiarity with pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
Prior freight sorting, cross‑dock, or route staging experience
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

Receive, sort, and stage incoming freight and packages
Load and unload freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and manual handling
Organize shipments by route, priority, or customer requirements
Prepare freight for outbound courier dispatch and delivery
Verify shipment counts, condition, and documentation
Perform basic inventory tracking and freight reconciliation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Use smartphones, tablets, or warehouse systems for scanning and documentation
Communicate clearly with operations staff, dispatch, and supervisors
Follow safety procedures and operational instructions
Perform additional warehouse or operations duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
