Under limited supervision an Operations Associate will be responsible for operating lifts (i.e. Order Picker, Forklift, Turret Truck), ensuring optimal inventory storage, fulfilling work orders, and other warehouse responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Good written and verbal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to do basic math and work with numbers.
  • Ability to apply common sense to deal with varying situations.
  • An uplifting and respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Performs any combinations of the following tasks: store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products within facilities.
  • Fulfill work orders and gather items to be moved or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, pallet jack, pallet runner and/or forklift.
  • Assemble orders from inventory and transfer orders to packaging or production.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within facility to ensure accuracy and conformance to company standards.
  • Uses an electronic handheld scanner.
  • Perform audits on work orders as needed.
  • Support team work to attain department objectives.
  • Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
  • Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area by learning and applying 5S methods.
