About The Position

This position pays $18.00 per hour with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations. The role involves pulling totes, packages, or orders from a conveyor or pallet, scanning, sorting, and delivering them to a holding area or the next destination until all line items are accounted for and consolidated. The associate will confirm order completion and transport orders to the appropriate location. Operation of a pallet jack, stock chaser, flatbed cart, or rider pallet jack may be required with in-house certification. The associate will ensure TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery within their assigned areas. They will meet established quality goals related to 'parts per million' (PPM) errors and productivity goals defined by Management. Active participation in job qualification audits and strict adherence to all established standard operating procedures are expected. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies and availability for overtime as required due to business demands are also key aspects of the role. A positive, team-oriented attitude is crucial, involving collaboration and cooperation to complete work assignments effectively and efficiently. The associate will contribute to the operations team's success by accepting and embracing 'other duties as required,' working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a sense of urgency, and maintaining a positive attitude focused on delivering desired results for TTI. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to established safe operating policies and notifying management of any observed safety hazards is paramount. The role supports daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Performing FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained is also required. Active cross-training in other areas as required, outside of the primary job function, is expected.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Energetic and goal focused.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
  • Ability to count accurately and perform simple math.
  • Ability to read English and comprehend simple written work instructions.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • May require an in-house material handling equipment license according to the type of equipment being operated and follow defined safety guidelines.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
