About The Position

This co-op student role is for the Fall 2026 work term, lasting 4 months from September 8, 2026, to December 18, 2026. The pay range will reflect the candidate's experience, academic level, and required skillset. The role operates under a hybrid working model, with up to 1 day remote per week and the remaining days in the office. The Associate, Warehouse is responsible for the efficient picking, checking, packing, receiving, and shipping of customer orders while strictly following GMP guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes receiving, picking, checking, staging, and shipping drugs, medical supplies, and patient materials. Other duties include general housekeeping, inventory checks, and quality assurance checks.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome delivery trucks.
  • Receive and unload incoming products and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
  • Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received.
  • Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects, and notify team lead of findings.
  • Accurately receive, report, and distribute purchased items.
  • Replenish shelves in the warehouse.
  • Operate pallet jack and/or reach truck in loading and unloading materials.
  • Read Pick worksheets and verify the materials.
  • Verify all product numbers, lot numbers, and expiry dates.
  • Conduct weekly inventory counts.
  • Use of an RF Scanner.
  • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs.
  • Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify team lead immediately.
  • Adjust work orders as required when the material is short, according to the work order.
  • Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
  • Package and ship in accordance with SOP, packaging guidelines, and accepted methods/practices.
  • Replenish packaging materials in the warehouse, fridge, and freezer.
