About The Position

Viking Electric is hiring a full-time, second-shift warehouse associate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role helps deliver a strong customer experience by accurately picking, handling, packaging, and preparing warehouse products for delivery or storage. Work takes place in a positive, fast-paced environment with a supportive team. The associate may operate warehouse equipment after receiving training and will serve as a backup wire cutter.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Regularly lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, or up to 75 pounds with assistance from supportive equipment or team members.
Be able to stand and walk for much of the shift.
Have basic math skills, including adding and subtracting numbers.
Be willing to learn to operate equipment such as a forklift and handheld scanning device; training is provided.
Be able to work in various temperatures within the warehouse.
Be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks and move boxes and materials safely using warehouse equipment.
Count, check, and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels and help track inventory levels.
Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
Keep products organized and free from damage.
Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure.
