About The Position

The Warehouse Associate Backup Wire Cutter supports a positive, fast-paced warehouse team by helping deliver a great customer experience. The role involves accurately filling orders by locating products, preparing and packaging them, and getting them ready for shipment or storage. The position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a 1:30 p.m. start time Monday through Friday. Equipment training is provided. Compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, plus a $1.50-per-hour second-shift differential and a $3.00-per-hour wire differential when cutting wire. Compensation also includes a short-term incentive bonus and a full benefits package. Base pay may vary depending on experience and skills.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, or up to 75 pounds with assistance from supportive equipment or team members.
Be able to stand and walk for much of the shift.
Have basic math skills, including adding and subtracting numbers.
Be willing to learn to operate equipment such as a forklift and handheld scanning device; training is provided.
Be able to work in various temperatures within the warehouse.
Be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks and safely move boxes and materials using warehouse equipment.
Count, check, and record items arriving at or leaving the warehouse.
Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels and help track inventory levels.
Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage.
Help keep products organized and free from damage.
Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure.
