Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver
About The Position
The Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver locates and transfers product for daily sales orders, matching physical items with sales order descriptions. The role processes and sorts serialized product, assists with quality control maintenance of rental product, and prepares products for shipping according to company standards. It also involves loading and unloading vehicles, moving products within a facility, and helping pack carts for loading. The associate drives a company-provided vehicle between locations to deliver company-owned products on an as-needed backup basis, while following traffic regulations. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active driver's license.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to understand warehouse locations, locate product, and use an RF scanner.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly identify errors and retain knowledge of how to correct them.
- Ability to thrive under deadline-based assignments.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to walk up to 2 miles during the workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
- Ability to safely climb and work on ladders.
Nice To Haves
- 6 months of warehouse experience.
- 1 year of delivery driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Locate and transfer product for daily sales orders, matching physical product with the description on the sales order.
- Process and sort serialized product.
- Assist with quality control maintenance of rental product.
- Prepare product for shipping using company standards.
- Load and unload vehicles, sometimes taking items from or removing items to a rolling cart.
- Move product to a different location within a facility or help pack carts for loading.
- Drive a company-provided vehicle between locations to deliver company-owned product on an as-needed backup basis, following all traffic regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
