About The Position

Performs general duties associated with warehouse distribution. The role also provides safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products to customers and/or branches when business needs require additional delivery support; delivery responsibilities are secondary to warehouse duties. This position is located at 847 Bob White Rd, Victoria, TX, and is full time. Salary is undisclosed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid and up-to-date Class A CDL.
At least 1 year of work experience; warehouse experience is preferred.
Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office products.
Ability to operate a computer terminal and other computer-related equipment relevant to job duties.
High initiative, commitment, and devotion to fulfilling the company mission statement.
Successful completion of a DOT physical.
Chauffeur license.
Successful completion of the internal driving skills assessment.
Good, verifiable driving record; motor vehicle reports are reviewed by the company's insurance company biannually.
Forklift operation requires proper training and certification.

Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform the requirements of assigned warehouse departments, which may include shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory, and delivery, and assist throughout the warehouse as needed.
Verify incoming and outgoing transactions as workflow requires.
Receive vendor material into the business system and maintain related records.
Assist with unloading and loading delivery vehicles.
Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
Operate a forklift after completing required training and certification; use other material-handling equipment as needed.
Support implementation and processes of TWL, if applicable, and the quality program.
Clean and maintain the work area to comply with safety regulations.
Operate company-provided delivery vehicles and transport products and materials to and from specified destinations.
Load and unload delivery vehicles.
Maintain radio contact to receive delivery and pickup instructions.
Check truck equipment and supplies to ensure roadworthiness.
