The Warehouse Assistant role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate receipt and processing of incoming inventories, as well as the preparation and shipment of customer orders at the Markham Warehouse. Requirements

High School Diploma
Forklift and reach truck Operator's Certificate

Responsibilities

Unload, unpack and check incoming shipments and verify that goods received match packing slips according to quantities, descriptions and lot expiry dates, placing them in their correct storage locations.
Pick, check and pack customer orders to ensure that product catalog and lot numbers are correctly picked.
Processing returns from the hospitals.
Following-up and tracking critical shipments.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse following 6S and lean practices.
Safely drive forklift and reach-truck to place and pick skids/shipments as needed.
Check and service all the equipment on a daily-basis to ensure continuity of operations.
Improve the current processes making it leaner and customer-centric (kaizen mindset).
