About The Position

The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role ensures accurate inventory handling and timely order fulfillment using WMS system to track and manage warehouse activities efficiently. Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments. Pick, pack, and label products for outbound orders. Maintain clean and organized storage areas. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (as certified). Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies. Assist in loading and unloading trucks. Follow all health and safety guidelines and company procedures. Support other warehouse duties as needed.

  • Identify and promptly report any safety hazards, near misses, or incidents.
  • Adhere strictly to all GMP procedures.
  • Work according to the Quality Management System (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies and practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and practice proper personal hygiene.
  • Immediately report any product issues, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from procedures.
  • React to change productively and to undertake other tasks as assigned.
  • Punctuality and Attendance: Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain consistent attendance. Notify your supervisor in advance of any absences or delays.
  • Accountability: Take ownership of your tasks and responsibilities. Follow through on assignments and communicate openly about progress or issues.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains receiving, shipping, warehousing, and Pick and Pack operations by initiating, coordinating.
  • Ascertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery pallet.
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing workorders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling data and complete transactions in WMS.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
