Warehouse Assistant – 6 Month Contract

We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a 6-month contract. You’ll help keep our warehouse clean, organized and running efficiently while supporting inventory management, receiving and loading activities. You’ll work closely with both the warehouse and production teams to make sure products move safely and accurately.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift operating experience is required
- Valid G Driver’s Licence
- Ability to safely lift bags weighing up to 25 kg
- Strong teamwork, organization and time-management skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean, organized workplace
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Load bulk and bagged products accurately and safely for customers and carriers.
- Assist with receiving and unloading ingredients and deliveries.
- Organize, rotate and sort inventory, pallets and totes.
- Help maintain accurate product flow and follow FIFO practices.
- Operate a forklift to support loading and warehouse activities.
- Keep the warehouse, loading areas and surrounding spaces clean and organized.
- Follow all safety, HACCP, CFIA and company procedures.
- Report safety concerns, errors or incidents promptly.
- Support other areas of the plant and assist with additional tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse and production teams to meet daily priorities.
