About The Position

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for moving incoming components and outgoing finished goods to customers. Warehouse Assistants are cross-trained in all aspects of warehouse operations. The role includes preparing and labeling products for shipment, supporting inventory activities, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or factory warehouse setting.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to operate equipment and machinery safely.
Ability to read and interpret paperwork.
Attention to detail and ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Reliability, dependability, and a consistently positive attitude.
Organizing and planning skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to use an electronic scanner accurately.
Patience and ability to remain professional at all times.
Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Move finished skids from Final Quality to the wrapper and from the wrapper to the warehouse.
Wrap all skids for shipment.
Check product quality before pulling orders and report poor-quality items to management.
Operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Label products for shipment.
Participate in ongoing physical inventory and monitor stock to maintain adequate supplies.
Handle truck loading and unloading efficiently.
Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly manner.
Make sound decisions with minimal supervision and handle stressful situations professionally.
Perform additional functions or other duties as assigned by management.
