Scott Electric has a current opening at their Cleveland, OH, branch for a Full-Time Warehouse Assistant Supervisor, working Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with potential for overtime.

Requirements

  • Coordinate the driver's route/ logistics
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask and have attention to detail
  • Demonstrates familiarity with basic computer programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Prior experience in inventory control, forklift operation, and general warehousing
  • Manages time effectively and efficiently
  • Effectively manages employee-related situations
  • Demonstrates strong skills in ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Knowledge about company products
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities
  • Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels
  • Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds
  • Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment
  • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers
