About The Position

The Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) is the owner & operator of both BWI Thurgood Marshall and Martin State Airports, serving over 27 million passengers annually. MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of Warehouse Assistant Supervisor within the Office of Procurement and Materials Management at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport). This position assists in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of supplies and materials ordered into the Maryland Aviation Administration Central Warehouse for use by all MAA Departments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assisting in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of supplies and materials ordered into the MAA Central Warehouse for use by all MAA Departments materials and inventory control. Receiving and processing supply requisitions. Conducting physical and cycle counts. Maintaining equipment such as forklifts, delivery vehicles, pallets jacks, etc.., and performing other necessary duties as required. This position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.

Requirements

• Graduation from a standard high school.
• Three years of successful and progressively responsible experience in the receipt, storage, issuance and purchase or requisition of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Class C license valid in the state of Maryland.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience in Stock/Clerk and Stock Clerk Supervisor classifications or Supply Specialist and Service Specialist specialty codes in the stockroom field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience.
