About The Position

Arnoff Moving and Storage is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our customers' fulfillment operations. You'll be a key part of how they get their product out the door, and your work will make a visible difference to them. This role includes the opportunity to join our emergency fulfillment rotation, which covers Friday 5:00 pm through Monday 7:00 am. Rotations are one week at a time, currently one week out of every four, and you're paid extra during your on-call week. Emergency orders need to be filled within one hour of the call, and the weekly average is about 5 call-outs, so you'll need to live within a reasonable drive.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience
• A good safety record and strong organizational skills
• Basic math skills and comfort with email, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Reliable transportation (required)

Nice To Haves

• Forklift or powered equipment experience
• Previous experience with warehouse management software

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship fulfillment orders accurately and within customer timelines
• Unload inbound shipments and put stock away using established procedures
• Perform inventory counts and keep reports up to date
• Keep the warehouse organized to customer standards
• Communicate with customers by email and phone
• Use company and customer warehouse software, handheld scanners, and barcode equipment
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks (we'll train you)
