The Area Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing warehouse operations, driving team performance, and ensuring production goals are consistently met. This role is responsible for managing people, processes, and performance across assigned functional areas, while serving as a key partner to the Warehouse Operations Manager in executing operational strategy. This position is primarily focused on leadership, decision-making, and team management, with less than 50% of time spent in direct production work. Role Purpose The Area Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations and direct supervision of assigned teams. This role ensures operational efficiency, high-quality standards, and workforce performance through leadership, coaching, and data-driven decision-making. The Area Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy, making real-time decisions related to staffing, workflow, and performance while escalating only when necessary.
