Within store guidelines, prepares items for sale and assists customers with their purchases. This role involves operating the cash register, receiving payment, and giving change. It also includes receiving and selecting merchandise from donations, placing items for sale, and potentially pricing them. The clerk will maintain merchandise displays, answer customer questions, and assist in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the store area. Responsibilities also include sorting and cleaning incoming donations for the sales floor. The position requires the ability to add, subtract, and make change, along with other assigned duties.
