About The Position

MacArthur Co. is a 100% Employee-Owned company that has grown from a small pipe insulation manufacturer in 1913 to a national distributor of building materials. As a Warehouse & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for stocking and preparing building material orders for distribution, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering materials to customers. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, requiring strict attention to safety and order accuracy. You will operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures, and must maintain appropriate licensing and an acceptable driving record.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and qualified driving record in the last 3 years.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
One year of box truck driving experience.
Ability to lift 40-70 pounds throughout the workday.
Flexibility to work overtime hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Organize building materials efficiently and accurately using various equipment.
Review orders to ensure correct picking.
Inspect orders for damage and report any issues to management.
Band, wrap, or package materials for shipping on commercial trucks and trailers.
Operate a forklift to pick items and build pallets/loads.
Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspections before departure.
Follow the daily operations schedule and adapt to customer needs.
Safely load and unload materials for transportation with attention to detail.
Organize and clean both warehouse and yard work areas.
Complete tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
Operate company vehicles to make customer deliveries, obeying all traffic laws and safety procedures.
