About The Position
Tollefson's Retail Group is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associate for their Slumberland location in Grand Rapids, MN. This role is crucial in assisting customers with their furniture needs, ensuring smooth deliveries, and maintaining the operational efficiency and presentation of the showroom and warehouse. The associate will also contribute to building and grounds maintenance, playing a key part in the team's success and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid and insurable driver's license.
- Ability to frequently lift and move 75+ pounds.
- Pre-employment drug testing required (includes cannabis per MN DOT requirements).
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with deliveries to customer locations.
- Ensure safe operations of the delivery truck, including daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage.
- Move materials from receiving areas to designated areas, including the showroom.
- Ensure proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety.
- Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
- Maintain the display of the showroom and warehouse.
- Provide exceptional customer service on deliveries.
