Warehouse and Delivery Associate
About The Position
Tollefson's Retail Group is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associate for their Slumberland location in Baxter, MN. This position reports directly to the Store Manager. The role involves assisting with customer deliveries, safe operation of delivery trucks (including daily inspections and tracking), moving materials within the warehouse and to the showroom, and performing building and grounds maintenance. The associate is a key member of the team, contributing to the presentation of the showroom and warehouse, and providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid and insurable driver's license is required.
- Ability to frequently lift and move 75+ pounds.
- Must be approved for a DOT Medical Certificate to operate store trucks.
- Pre-employment drug testing required, including cannabis.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with deliveries to customer locations.
- Ensure safe operations of the delivery truck, including daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage.
- Move materials from receiving areas to other designated areas, including the showroom.
- Ensure proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety.
- Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
- Maintain the display of the showroom and warehouse.
- Provide exceptional customer service on deliveries.
