About The Position

Tollefson's Retail Group is hiring Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associates for its Slumberland location in Baxter, Minnesota. The role reports directly to the Store Manager of the Baxter Slumberland. Associates help deliver merchandise to customers, safely operate and inspect the delivery truck, move materials through receiving, warehouse, and showroom areas, and assist with building and grounds maintenance. The position supports the presentation of the showroom and warehouse and provides customer service during deliveries.

The position is scheduled for weekend shifts and offers approximately 5–20 hours per week, depending on business needs. Pay is $17–$18 per hour. Part-time employees may accrue paid time off, receive employee purchase discounts, and may become eligible for the 401(k) after the waiting period if they meet the hours-worked requirement.

Requirements

• A valid, insurable driver's license is required for drivers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Minnesota Medical Examiner certificate is required for drivers.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required, including cannabis testing due to DOT requirements.
• Ability to frequently lift and move more than 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
• Availability to work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deliveries to customer locations.
• Operate the delivery truck safely, including completing daily inspections and tracking fluids and mileage.
• Move materials from receiving areas to designated locations, including the showroom.
• Handle materials properly and operate manual lifts and power equipment safely.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
• Help maintain the presentation of the showroom and warehouse and provide customer service during deliveries.
