About The Position

Warrior Services Company provides Durable Medical Equipment, Mobility, and Access services to federal government and commercial customers. They specialize in Home Medical Equipment (HME), including all types of DME, Home Oxygen Services, and Sales and Repairs of Complex Rehab Power Mobility Devices for the Department of VA and other Federal Agencies. This role is for a dependable Warehouse 1 person to support receiving, inventory, and distribution operations at their Freehold, NJ warehouse facility. The position assists the local Manager in maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment. Key functions include receiving and inspecting shipments, labeling, storing, and tracking inventory, maintaining required Dept. of VA records, preparing and staging equipment for delivery, assisting with loading vehicles, updating work orders, and coordinating outbound shipments using Salesforce for daily warehouse operations. The role involves close collaboration with delivery drivers, vendors, and Dept. of VA officials for scheduling and updates. As a government contractor serving the Department of Veterans Affairs, accuracy, compliance, and service quality are paramount.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma – Required
  • Warehouse Operations Experience - 1 to 3 years required
  • Performing Warehouse Inventory Counts and Control - 1 to 3 years required
  • Ability to pass a Background Check
  • Driver's License (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • SalesForce CRM software - 1 to 3 years preferred
  • Forklift experience – preferred
  • Receiving experience - preferred
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Freehold, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Assist warehouse manager in implementing company policies and vision
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization
  • Establish and enforce operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
  • Place outbound calls to vendors and freight carriers to coordinate delivery schedules and provide order updates
  • Know where your site's fire exits are
  • Monitor service quality and gather feedback
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
  • Receiving and inspecting shipments
