About The Position

Foundation Health Partners 1st Care, a family medicine walk-in medical clinic, is seeking an advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their highly experienced and growing team. FHP 1st Care is an ED-light clinic that manages a variety of health concerns, including orthopedic injuries, minor traumas, acute and chronic illness, and pediatric complaints. Our team provides advanced diagnostics through our on-site lab and radiology, with efficient access to an advanced imaging center. As the go-to community provider for walk-in care, you can expect that every day will present new and exciting challenges.

Requirements

Completion of a master’s degree in nursing.
Approved to practice as a Family NP (FNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification.
Current RN license in state of practice.
Certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner.
Personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing.
Exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.
Proficiency in computer applications and database management.

Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.
