About The Position

Allied Care is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate Waiver Coordinator to join our growing team. The Waiver Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting our Home and Community Based Services by coordinating waiver applications, maintaining eligibility requirements, assisting with office operations, and providing exceptional customer service to clients, caregivers, and staff.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative, healthcare, or business experience
• Valid driver's license
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Medicaid or Home and Community Based Waiver programs
• Healthcare or human services administrative experience

Responsibilities

• Process Participant-Directed Services (PDS) background checks
• Assist with Medicaid Waiver application processing
• Verify monthly eligibility for Case Management and Attendant Care billing
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service
• Welcome and assist visitors
• Maintain office fax inbox and distribute documents appropriately
• Process outgoing mail and order office supplies
• Prepare reports and assist with invoice processing
• Communicate updates with clients and caregivers
• Conduct routine client satisfaction calls
• Assist with Critical Incident Reports as needed
• Cross-train with multiple departments and provide support where needed
• Assist with HR projects and office coordination
