About The Position
Greet guests promptly and courteously. Present menus and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction. Refill beverages and respond promptly to guest requests. Process guest payments and provide accurate change or receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations. Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations. Report customer concerns or complaints to management when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
