About The Position

Unidine is hiring immediately for part time WAITER/WAITRESS positions. This role involves taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to dining room guests in a senior living environment. Requirements

• Prior senior living experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
• Advise guests on menu combinations and accommodate reasonable requests and preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodation of special requests.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others.
• Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Ensure the dining room is properly set up and maintained according to sanitation standards.
• Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Work with staff from other departments for special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
