About The Position
Morrison Living is hiring immediately for part time WAITER/WAITRESS positions at Clermont Park. This role involves taking food and beverage orders, efficiently delivering items to dining room guests, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The position requires prompt and warm guest interaction, professional food delivery, adherence to safe food handling standards, and a thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, patience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both guests and staff. Responsibilities also include cash handling, maintaining a clean and safe environment, addressing guest complaints, and operating various kitchen equipment. This role is crucial to the culinary team and contributes to creating memorable experiences for residents.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently.
- Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
- Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
- Advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests.
- Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and the ability to get along well with others.
- Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
- Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay information to the supervisor.
- Ensure the dining room is properly set up and maintained according to sanitation standards.
- Operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
- Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
