Morrison Living is hiring immediately for part time WAITER/WAITRESS positions at Monroe Village. This role involves taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to dining room guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
- Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
- Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating reasonable requests.
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special request accommodation.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others, remaining flexible and patient.
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
- Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Ensure the dining room is properly set up and clean before and after service periods, meeting sanitation standards.
- Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
- Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
