Culinaire has an opening for part-time WAITER/WAITRESS positions at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. Requirements

Two years of previous serving experience in a restaurant is required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established service steps.
Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating reasonable requests.
Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodation of special requests.
Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others, remaining flexible and patient.
Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Ensure the dining room is properly set up and clean before and after service periods, meeting sanitation standards.
Operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
