Requirements

  • Prior serving experience preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
  • Ability to advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested.
  • Ability to accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
  • Ability to communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to get along well with others.
  • Flexibility and patience when communicating with guests and staff.
  • Ability to follow proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.

  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines.
  • Ability to work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
  • Advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests and preferences.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
  • Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodation.

  • Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
