About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a part-time Waiter(ess) Food & Beverage Attendant to join their dynamic team in the BMO Executive Dining catering department. This role offers a great team environment, work-life balance, and the opportunity to contribute to buffet service, receptions, and high-end dinners. The position involves various missions including catering setup, buffet service, receptions and served lunches & dinners, a la carte service, preparing coffee and drinks, and cleaning as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of similar experience is required
- Demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Willingness to go above and beyond the minimum requirements
- High school diploma or similar experience will be considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Catering setup
- Buffet service
- Receptions and served lunches & dinners
- A la carte service
- Preparing coffee and drinks
- Cleaning as required
- Provide prompt, friendly and professional service
- Serve food to customers at a limited number of tables, following proper etiquette
- Make appropriate food and beverage suggestions and answer questions regarding food preparation
- Write food orders and transmit the order to the kitchen
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables
- Participate in any other food service-related activities
