Part-Time Wait Staff
About The Position
The Terraces of Boise, a HumanGood community, is seeking talented Wait Staff to join their dining team. This role involves setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes, bussing tables, preparing food items like salads and desserts, and maintaining cleanliness in food service and dining areas. HumanGood is a growing organization interested in individuals who want to be part of their team. This application is for a talent network, allowing consideration for future openings, and applications will be kept on file for up to one year. The available schedule is part-time, from 4 PM to 7:30 PM, with rotating days and mandatory weekend availability. The wage range is $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Availability that might include evenings, weekends, & holidays (required)

Nice To Haves
- Prior customer service experience (preferred)
- Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience (preferred)
- Prior experience working with seniors (preferred)
- Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Greets residents and guests promptly as they arrive at their table.
- Informs guests of daily specials and makes recommendations.
- Completes bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned.
- Refills beverages throughout the meal service.
- Keeps alert to resident requests and special needs; assists residents with plates or trays.
- Performs all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline.
- Serves food to residents.
- Washes dishes and/or pots and pans.
- Bussing dishes.
- Prepares food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes.
- Maintains cleanliness of food service and dining room areas.
