About The Position
The Terraces of Boise, a HumanGood community, is seeking talented Wait Staff to join their dining team. This role involves setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes, bussing tables, preparing simple food items like salads and desserts, and maintaining cleanliness in food service and dining areas. HumanGood is a growing organization that encourages applications for ongoing opportunities and maintains a talent network for future openings. Applications are kept on file for up to one year.
Requirements
- Availability that might include evenings, weekends, & holidays (required)

Nice To Haves
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience
- Prior experience working with seniors
- Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline.
- Serve food to residents.
- Wash dishes and/or pots and pans.
- Bus dishes.
- Prepare food, such as salads, desserts, and garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness of food service and dining room areas.
- Greet residents and guests promptly as they arrive at their table.
- Inform guests of daily specials and make recommendations.
- Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility, and catering duties as needed or assigned.
- Refill beverages throughout the meal service.
- Keep alert to resident requests and special needs; assist residents with plates or trays.
